This wall relief is part of my "Bark" series, which pulls inspiration from the bark of trees.
The texture is molded by hand with cellulose on a wood board.
After thorough drying, it has been resin impregnated to stiffen and reinforce the piece. The aged bronze-gold finish is obtained using metallic paints, oxide and gilding waxes.
I created a color gradient from darker on top to lighter at the bottom which emphasizes the verticality of the wall sculpture.
 
The interior views are to approx scale, please measure your wall to ensure proper fit.
